Statistical Evaluation Of The CareConnections Outcomes Tool

In 2008, CareConnections solicited a technical review and validation of the CareConnections Functional Index. The review was based on over 200,000 records from the CareConnections Outcomes database that were collected from 2005 to 2007. The main focus of the study was centered on the Functional Index portion of the CareConnections Outcomes tool. The findings of this review can be viewed here.
CareConnections will be performing additional reliability and concurrent validation studies on the CareConnections Functional Index throughout 2009 and 2010. What is CareConnections?
CareConnections is a Web-based suite of rehabilitation medical Management services. CareConnections uses combinations of tools to assist providers and payers with the medical management of patients and clinical services. These tools are the CareConnections Outcomes System, CareConnections Treatment Guidelines, CareConnections Patient Satisfaction Monitoring, and CareConnections Prior Authorization/Advice System (PAS).
